Alchachess: Dev Log 10


Changed how spells work. Now they affect pieces and the environment. Environmental effects can be used to trap/block movement of enemy pieces, effectively preventing them from being able to make specific spell combos. They can also be used to protect ally pieces.

Black Spells = damage enemies and allies 

White Spells = heal enemies and allies 

Red Spells = damage enemies only 

Blue Spells = damage enemies, heal allies, create ice barriers 

Green Spells = damage enemies, heal allies, create tree barriers 

Yellow Spells = damage enemies, create rock barriers

 

--Side Note-- 

Spell names are randomly generated. Here's my favorite I saw today: "Earth Dragon's Angelic Transmutation of the Sun"
